She is a client representative with IBM. The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. He is a client representative with IBM. The loving twosome enjoyed a romantic honeymoon in the Western Caribbean.
* Amazing 75 Years: Rev. and Mrs. Halsie B. Owens recently celebrated 75 years of wedded bliss in Ogden, UT. Mrs. Virneda Owens retired in nursing. She is a former assistant state supervisor of Utah for the Church of God in Christ. Her dedicated mate for more than seven decades is a retired pentecostal minister with the Church of God in Christ. They are the parents of six children, 28 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren and 41 great-great grandchildren.
* Arrested By Love: Jeffrey A. Grant and Lisa L. Williams joined in holy matrimony at Allen AME Church in Jamaica, NY. A graduate of the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, the bride is a New York City police detective. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, the groom is a computer consultant for Xerox Connect, Inc. Tenerife, the Canary Islands, is where the newlyweds spent their honeymoon.
* Devoted For Life: Charles M. Bates, III and McKawonjalia Hall exchanged sacred marital vows at the Greater Zion Hill Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA. The bride, a graduate of Georgia State University, works for Hewlett Packard. The groom, who attended Alabama A&M University, is CEO-President of Platinum Set Entertainment, Inc. The newlyweds honeymooned in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
* Bliss: Sean Keenan Daughtry and Chenita Dionne Hampton wed at Wesley United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge, LA. The bride, a graduate of Southern University and Georgia Institute of Technology, is a software engineer at Raytheon Systems Co. The groom, a graduate of Morehouse College and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is a materials chemist at Cabot Corporation. They honeymooned in the Poconos.
* Happy In Love: Dr. Andrew D. Campbell and Dr. Monica L. Lypson wed in Chicago, IL. The bride, a graduate of Brown University and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, is completing her training in internal medicine at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. The groom, a graduate of Morehouse College and the Massachusetts General Hospital, is completing his pediatric residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Ocho Rios, Jamaica, was the honeymoon spot.
