Dunston Can Play Pending Appeal

Jet, June 14, 1999

Shawon Dunston of the St. Louis Cardinals talks with San Francisco Giants manager Dusty Baker prior to their game at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. Dunston, 36, has been suspended for three games by National League President Leonard S. Coleman for instigating a bench-clearing incident when he charged the pitcher's mound on May 23 in a game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Dunston has appealed the ruling and is eligible to play pending a hearing.
