Golden Years: Rev. Dr. William Thurmond and his wife, Lena, of Los Angeles, celebrated 50 years of blissful marriage with family and friends at the Ritz Carlton in Marina Del Rey, CA. Mrs. Thurmond is a retired educator. Her devoted mate of five decades is the pastor of Park Windsor Baptist Church in Los Angeles They are the parents of four children; one is deceased.
The Thurmonds have nine grandchildren.
