RR Donnelley forms strategic alliance with all printing & graphics
Jet, Jan 17, 2005
RR Donnelley & Sons Company and All Printing & Graphics, a leading Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), recently announced a multi-year agreement.
Under the terms of the agreement, All Printing & Graphics will increase its own manufacturing capacity by partnering with RR Donnelley. The companies also announced a multi-year extension of All Printing & Graphics' contract to serve as RR Donnelley's tier one supplier for print stationery, corporate identity and other products.
RR Donnelley CEO Michael A. Angelson said, "This agreement transcends the ordinary tier one vendor relationship and creates a new model that encompasses the spirit of minority business development. Our strategic alliance enables an important MBE supplier to draw upon RR Donnelley's manufacturing, information technology and new product development resources."
Angelson added, "RR Donnelley's relationship with All Printing & Graphics began in 2000. Renewing and expanding our relationship with this valued supplier addresses an unsatisfied need in the marketplace."
Hoyett Owens, president and CEO of All Printing & Graphics, said, "This is a historic agreement. Public, private and government organizations seeking to do business with a minority-owned printer have sometimes encountered capacity, scale and financing barriers that prevent relationships from developing to their full potential. Through this agreement with RR Donnelley, All Printing & Graphics will be able to eliminate those barriers and provide many more customers with world-class services from a minority-owned business."
Chicago-based RR Donnelley is the world's premier full-service global print provider and the largest printing company in North America, serving customers in the publishing, health care, advertising, retail, technology, financial services and many other industries.
All Printing & Graphics, Inc. provides a full range of print services, including prepress, commercial print manufacturing, label printing, envelope manufacturing and finishing services. Based in Chicago, the company also provides graphic design services and imprinting services for branded corporate wear, event memorabilia, promotional products and specialty advertising items.
