MORE PROBLEMS FOR DMX: Rapper-actor DMX, shown in this June 2004 file photo, was arrested for allegedly driving more than 100 mph on a highway in upstate New York, only a week after he pleaded guilty to driving through an airport parking gate while on drugs. The performer, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was pulled over after driving 104 mph in a 65 mph zone, police said.
Because his license had been suspended after the airport incident, Simmons was arrested on charges of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. State police said he was also charged with speeding and driving an unregistered vehicle. The rap star was released on $350 bail and ordered to appear in court later this month. Last June DMX was charged with crashing into a gate with his vehicle at Kennedy Airport after telling a parking Jot attendant he was a federal agent, He later admitted to being on Valium at the time. The entertainer pleaded guilty in that case and was sentenced to a conditional discharge, meaning further violations within a year could land him in jail.
