President Clinton receives the National Coalition of Minority Businesses (NCMB) Legacy Award from Weldon H. Latham (1), general counsel for the NCMB and senior partner at the national law firm of D.C.-based Shaw Pittman, and Melvin E. Clark, NCMB board member and chairman and CEO of Metroplex Corporation, one of the nation's largest minority businesses.
Clinton was honored for his commitment to the minority business community at the NCMB's annual awards dinner held in Washington, D.C. NCMB is a nonprofit minority advocacy group that promotes and protects the interests of its constituency in federal government and in major corporate procurements.
