* LOMBARDI WINNER: Following ceremonies in Houston, Florida State University (FSU) defensive end Jamal Reynolds stands with the 2000 Lombardi Award presented to him for being the nation's top college lineman. "It's a blessing that I've had this opportunity to take advantage of my ability," Reynolds, a senior at FSU, said.

"Nothing is promised to you." The 6-foot-4, 254-pound Reynolds' team-high 12 sacks this season is the main reason the Seminoles will play for a national championship in the Orange Bowl on January 3, 2001.
