The groom, a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Alabama State University, is a language arts teacher with the Daleville City Schools.

Love Begins With God: Mr. Henry Griffin and his wife, Doris, commemorated 50 years of blissful marriage with family and friends in Benton Harbor, MI. Mrs. Griffin retired as the manager of a small printing company. Her devoted mate of five decades retired from the Peoples Gas Company after 32 years of service. The Griffins are the parents of five and the grandparents of 12.
