ARTIST-TO-ARTIST: Renowned filmmaker, photographer and writer Gordon Parks, joined by daughter, Toni Parks, attends the opening of Toni's latest photography exhibit at the Gordon A. Parks Gallery & Cultural Arts Center at the John Cardinal O'Connor Campus of the College of New Rochelle School of New Resources in the Bronx, NY.
Her exhibit, New York in Performance, features images of Black artistic expression. "With my camera, I hope to touch the heart, mind and soul of the viewer," Toni Parks has said about her work. Her current exhibit, her 18th over the last decade, runs through July 30 at the gallery named in honor of her famous father.
