* ASCAP MUSIC AWARDS: Pioneer disc jockey Hal Jackson, who has been on the air for more than 60 years, receives the first-ever American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers' (ASCAP) Legendary Broadcaster Award during the organization's recent 16th annual Rhythm & Soul Music Awards ceremonies in the Hammerstein Ballroom at Manhattan Center in New York. He is congratulated by ASCAP President and CEO Marilyn Bergman (2nd, l), ASCAP's Doug Peek (l) and Inner City Broadcasting's Pierre Sutton. Below, hit songwriter-producer Timbaland, the recipient of the Songwriter of the Year Award, receives best wishes from ASCAP's Jeanie Weems and ASCAP executive vice president Todd Brabec.
