Emmy Award-winning actor Robert Guillaume and his wife Donna recently purchased a home in the San Fernando Valley section of Los Angeles for $1 million.

The Hot Property section of the Los Angeles Times reported that Guillaume, who is featured in the current movie Big Fish, and his wife bought a four-bedroom, four-bath 4,800-square-foot home built in the 1940s. The home is in the Studio City section of the city and also has a fireplace.

Guillaume, 76, was a Broadway veteran before becoming a television star in such sitcoms as "Soap" (for which he won an Emmy) and his own starring vehicle, "Benson."
