Graham during the mayor's Women's Appreciation Brunch By The Lake held at Paradise Lakes Country Club and Convention Center in Riverdale. Scott is the first elected Black district attorney for Clayton County, which has more than 251,000 residents and contains the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. Last year, Graham became the first elected Black mayor of Riverdale which also is located within Clayton County. Scott, before assuming her post this month, was a public interest attorney since 1984, and worked in private practice and with the Atlanta Legal Aid Society.
