HOLIDAY HAPPENING: Season's greetings flowed during a recent holiday showcase party hosted by JET Magazine and Smirnoff Vodka at Sean "Puffy" Combs' restaurant, Justin's, in New York City. Joining in the festivities, which included a salute to Smirnoff Vodka's advertising campaign--It's even smoother when you drink responsibly"--were Debbie Donadio, media manager for Circulation Experti, Ltd.; Kim Sealy, account executive for JET; Allison Tellis-Hinds, eastern advertising manager for JET; Garrison Jackson, president & CEO for Circulation Experti, Ltd.; Tesa Anewishki, JET marketing director; Mitzi Hallman, JET administrative assistant; and JET account executives Denzer Johnson and Valencia Joseph.
Below, singer-songwriter Syleena Johnson (c), of Jive Records, receives congratulations on her upcoming album Chapter 1: Love, Pain & Forgiveness, from Wayne Williams, vice president A&R for Jive (2nd, 1) and JET advertising staffers Tellis-Hinds and Anewishki; Janet Smith, marketing director for Jive; Laz Alonso from AM@ BET and JET advertising staffer Joseph. During the affair, Syleena performed her first single release, I Am Your Woman, written and produced by superstar singer-songwriter-producer R. Kelly, and other songs from the album which is slated for release early this year.
