The bride, a graduate of Southern University, Baton Rouge, is an elementary educator in the Dallas Independent School District. The groom attended Stephen F. Austin University. He is employed by Airborne Express. The loving twosome will live in Dallas after honeymooning in Jamaica.

The bride, a graduate of Ohio State University, is a legislative intern for the Ohio House of Representatives. The groom, a graduate of Ohio University and Ohio State University, works for the Office of Minority Affairs Frank W. Hale, Jr. Black Cultural Center. The loving twosome will make their home in Columbus.

Fifty Years Of Love: Mr. and Mrs. Emmett McWoods celebrated 50 years of love and happiness with family and friends during a celebration at the Sheraton Clayton Plaza in St. Louis. Mrs. Mary "Chi Chi" McWoods retired after 25 years of service as an early childhood educator. Her dedicated mate of five decades retired after more than 30 years of service as an analytical chemist for the Monsanto Chemical Company. The McWoods are the parents of six and the grandparents of seven.
