Queen to preside at the Grammys

Queen to preside at the Grammys: Talented rapper/singer/actress Queen Latifah, who enjoyed last year's Grammy Awards show from the audience, will host the 47th annual Grammy Awards show in Los Angeles next month. Latifah, a Grammy winner, will also perform during the show which is the biggest music industry event.
Latifah's latest project, The Dana Owens Album, is nominated for a Best Jazz Vocal Album Grammy. "Queen Latifah is an extraordinary renaissance artist with unparalleled style and substance, and her passion, talent and personality make her an excellent choice as host for our show," National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences President Neil Portnow said.
