New College Football Hall Of Famers

Twelve ex-college football stars and a coach recently were inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Among the inductees are Al Brosky, a defensive back at the University of Illinois; Bo Jackson, a running back at Auburn University; Tom Osborne, a coach at the University of Nebraska; Jim McMahon, quarterback at Bringham Young University and Jim Ritcher, a center for North Carolina State University; Bill Fralic, an offensive tackle at the University of Pittsburgh; Mel Long, a defensive tackle at the University of Toledo; Bill Stanfill, a defensive tackle at the University of Georgia; Randy Gradisher, a linebacker at Ohio State University; Alex Sarkisian a center/linebacker at Northwestern University and Brad Budde, an offensive guard at the University of Southern California.

An induction ceremony was held at the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame's 41st Annual Awards Dinner at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York. They will be permanently enshrined at the College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend, IN, in the summer of 1999.
