BUCKLE UP: The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Congress of National Black Churches (CNBC) recently embarked on a historic safety partnership by signing a memorandum of understanding to promote seat belt usage within the African-American community. Participants of the signing were CNBC Executive Director Sullivan Robinson, Secretary of Transportation Rodney Slater, and Administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Dr.
Sue Bailey. This effort is part of DOT's Buckle Up America campaign.
