Eastern District of Michigan

Robert M. Grubbs, a 25-year Michigan State Police veteran, was installed as U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Michigan. Appointed by President George W. Bush, Grubbs will direct law enforcement activities in his district, including fugitive searches, asset seizures, court security, witness protection and prisoner transport.

The U.S. Marshals Service is the nation's oldest federal law enforcement agency.
