The loving twosome honeymooned on a caribbean cruise to the Bahamas.

* Golden Affair: Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Sharpe were honored during a 50th wedding anniversary celebration at the Capital City Club in Montgomery, AL. Mrs. Anita Sharpe retired as a teacher after 34 years of service. Her devoted mate of five decades retired from Trenholm State Technical College where he worked as the buildings and grounds and cafeteria superintendent. The Sharpes are the parents of a daughter. They are the grandparents of two.
