Kangaroo Jack: rated PG Castle Rock Entertainment

Jet, Feb 3, 2003 by Sylvia P. Flanagan

An adventure/comedy about two friends who get mixed up in some underhanded business for a New York mob boss. They botch up a job that costs the boss millions, and the only thing that keeps them alive is the fact that one of them happens to be the boss' stepson. Thinking that they are getting back into the good grace of their boss, they deliver an envelope for their boss to a hit man in Australia.

Little do they know that envelope has a check in it for $50,000 and the hit man has been hired to make them "disappear." The guys place the envelope `safely' in a red jacket and head to the Australian outback. Almost as soon as they arrive, they loose the red jacket and the money to a kangaroo with a taunting personality. Now they must capture the animal and recover the money or get nabbed by either the hit man or even worse, the New York heavies who are prepared to join the Kangaroo chase. Starring: Anthony Anderson, Jerry O'Connell, Estella Warren, Michael Shannon, Bill Hunter and Christopher Walken.
