Filmmaker-actor Mario Van Peebles holds his father, pioneering filmmaker Melvin Van Peebles, after the premier of Mario's Baadasssss! At the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT. Mario wrote and directed the ode to his father's 1971 movie Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song, in which he made his film debut.
