Mootry inducted into Business Hall of Fame at Chicago State University

MOOTRY INDUCTED INTO BUSINESS HALL OF FAME AT CHICAGO STATE UNIVERSITY: Vanessa Mootry, the widow of Charles Mootry, former vice president, advertising director of Johnson Publishing Company's JET Magazine, stands near a painting of her late husband after it was unveiled recently when he was posthumously inducted into the Business Hall of Fame at Chicago State University (CSU).

Freeman, Jr., Hall of Famer and Professor Emeritus for Management, CSU College of Business; Jacoby Dickens, Hall of Famer and Board Chairman, Seaway National Bank; Bijesh Tolia, acting Dean, CSU College of Business; Louis Dodd, Hall of Fame inductee and co-owner, Louis Dodd Insurance Agency; and Robert J. Dale, Hall of Famer and founder and CEO of R. J. Dale Advertising and Public Relations. Mootry, who was 55, died last year (JET, Nov. 17, 2003).
