Lovely Anniversary: Former U.S. Ambassador to Gambia George Haley and his wife, Doris, celebrated 50 years of marriage in Belize. Mrs. Haley is a former high school teacher who taught in Kansas City, MO, and the District of Columbia. The vacation was a gift from their children, Kansas State Senator David Haley and Ann Haley Brown, special asst.
to the City Attorney of Los Angeles. George Haley is the brother of the late acclaimed author Alex Haley.
