Knights of Peter Claver

> Athanase J. Jones, Jr., former director of logistics for the U.S. Navy's Southeast Region, was named executive director for the Knights of Peter Claver in Louisiana. The group is the nation's largest historically Black Catholic lay organization. The order's fifth executive director in 32 years, he will oversee day-to-day operations of the order's more than 1,000 units operating in 32 states and the District of Columbia.
