Jet, August 11, 2003
Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams recently parted with $2 million for a three-bedroom condominium in the Trump Grande Ocean Resort and Residences in Sunny Isles Beach, FL, a surfside city that's about 9 miles east of the team's home field, Pro Player Stadium, the Wall Street Journal reported.
When the just-under 3,000-square-foot residence is completed, it will contain the latest electronics. According to the paper, the 1998 Heisman Trophy winner and computer junkie is installing a custom-designed Cimax stereo, lighting and home-theater system for about $250,000.
The NCAA's all-time leading rusher with 6,279 yards during his time at the University of Texas had been living in a $1.215 million, three-bedroom house on the waterfront in Fort Lauderdale.
