Up for an Oscar

UP FOR AN OSCAR: For his riveting role as a moody, mysterious artist in the film In America, actor Djimon Honsou was singled out for an Academy Award nomination as Best Supporting Actor. He was this year's lone Black acting nominee. Honsou came to international attention several years ago with his acclaimed role in Amistad.
He was also featured in the Academy Award winning movie Gladiator. The awards for the 76th Annual Oscar telecast will be presented Feb. 29 at, the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.
