The Henry Johnson Fisher Award recognizes individuals who have made significant and longstanding contributions to the magazine industry. Also honored was Arthur Cooper, editor-in-chief of GQ magazine, who received the 2003 Magazine Editors' Hall of Fame Award. The awards gala was sponsored by the Magazine Publishers of America and American Society of Magazine Editors.
