SPIRIT AWARD: During his 19th annual weekend fund-raising extravaganza, "A Midsummer Night's Magic," at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, Magic Johnson (2nd, 1) presents the Magic Johnson Foundation Humanitarian Spirit Award to John Mack, president of the Los Angeles Urban League. Joining in the presentation are John Furr (1), vice president of sales development and affairs of Anheuser-Busch Corp., and Bernard Parks (r), city councilman of Los Angeles' 8th District.
(Below), Magic's wife Cookie Johnson, and Bobbie Parks, wife of Councilman Parks, enjoy the weekend's festivities whose proceeds go to the Taylor Michaels Scholarship Program.
