Crushed comeback

CRUSHED COMEBACK: Mike Tyson falls to the canvas after he was knocked out in the fourth round by England's Danny Williams in their recent heavyweight fight at the Freedom Hall in Louisville, KY. Tyson, 38, won the first three rounds, but couldn't handle the flurry of punches from the 31-year-old unheralded Williams (32-3, 27 KOs) that sent the former heavyweight champion sprawling into the ropes, ending the fight and causing a huge setback to his career.

After a 17-month layoff Tyson (50-5, 44 KOs) was trying to make a comeback and fight his way out of millions in debt. He earned about $8 million for the pay-per-view fight, but he could only keep $2 million of it, with the rest going to pay off some of the $38 million he owes to creditors under a bankruptcy reorganization plan. Williams said he wants to fight Tyson again to prove it wasn't a fluke. However, he may have to wait awhile; Tyson is currently recovering from knee surgery due to an injury he sustained during the bout.
