ARRESTS IN WEB CHILD PORN PROBE: New Jersey Attorney General Peter Harvey (l) and State Police Superintendent Col. Rick Fuentes announce the arrest of 39 people on child pornography charges, at the State Police Computer Forensic Laboratory in Hamilton, NJ. Charges resulted from investigation "Operation Guardian," in which detectives used new technology to detect child pornography files shared over the Internet.

Among those charged with child pornography were a high school hockey coach and a pediatric neurosurgeon. Those arrested were from around the state and ranged in age from a 14-year-old in Ocean County to a 61-year-old man from Cape May County, according to authorities. Harvey said the child porn was traced to specific computers: authorities then obtained search warrants.
