* MCDONALD'S GOSPELFEST 15TH ANNIVERSARY: Famed gospel singer Vickie Winans is joined by fellow gospel luminaries Rev. Timothy Wright (1) and Bishop Sam Williams during the recent celebration of the 15th anniversary McDonald's GospelFest concert at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Below, others who helped in commemorating the affair were (l-r) Pete Samaha, McDonald's restaurant owner and chairman of the public relations committee, Ron Bailey, McDonald's restaurant owner and chairman of the GospelFest committee, Charles Watkins, president of Wittnauer International, the premier watch-maker, and Larry Crider, vice president, business development and marketing for Wittnauer International. Winans, Williams and Wright hosted the gala. McDonald's GospelFest, sponsored by the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut tri-state McDonald's Co-op and presented this year in partnership with Coke, is a community-based celebration of gospel music.
