A graduate of Indiana University and Temple University, the bride is an elementary teacher in Philadelphia. A graduate of Central State University and Indiana University, the bridegroom is an elementary teacher in the Mt. Laurel Township school district.

Sixty Blissful Years: Dr. and Mrs. Spencer Durante recently celebrated 60 years of wedded bliss in Charlotte, NC. Mrs Rosalia Durante was a public school teacher for 32 years before she retired. Her dedicated mate for six blessed decades had a 45-year career in public school administration and taught at the college and university levels in the United States and in Nigeria, West Africa, before he retired. They have three sons, rive grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
