Caption: OUTGOING BETHUNE COOKMAN COLLEGE PREXY HONORED: Dr. Oswald F. Bronson, St, outgoing president of Bethune Cookman College (r), is congratulated by Florida Governor Jeb Bush during the UNCF's 2nd Annual Black History Month Luncheon in Orlando, FL. Bronson is the outgoing president of Bethune Cookman College and the luncheon included a farewell tribute to him. The college's president since 1975, he plans to retire June 30 from his job at the helm of the private, historically Black college with 2,700 students, 450 employees, a community economic impact of $300 million and a $45 million annual budget. UNCF President William H. Gray III (below), who recently announced his retirement as well, shares a laugh with Bush during the luncheon.
