Ohio State gridder dies in car accident

Ohio State University reserve defensive end Jayson Gwinn, 20, recently died in a two-car collision shortly after leaving a nightclub where a teammate had been shot.
Gwinn, a sophomore was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, university spokesman Malcolm Baroway said.
Just before he died, Gwinn had taken teammate Marvin "Obie" Stillwell to the hospital. Stillwell had been shot once in the buttocks outside a nightclub near the campus. Stillwell was hospitalized in good condition.
After leaving Stillwell, Gwinn's car collided with another driven by a 21-year-old Ohio State student. The other student was hospitalized in fair condition.
