Ronald R. Young chosen to lead Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity

Members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity recently elected Ronald R. Young as the Grand Polemarch, the highest position within the Black fraternal organization.
The vote occurred during the Grand Chapter meeting in Philadelphia where Young pledged to increase the fraternity's financial strength, enhance services to members and step up efforts to serve the community.
Young, administration and human resources vice president at Agway Petroleum Corp. in Syracuse, NY, has been a member of the fraternity since 1969. He holds a bachelor's degree from Hampton University and a MBA from Syracuse University.
Young has been in key positions within the fraternal organization, including serving on the National Advisors Committee and the Laurel Wreath Commission. Young was elected to the Grand Board of Directors for three consecutive terms and most recently was elected as Senior Grand Vice Polemarch in 1993.
He is married to Jacqueline Marie and they have three daughters.
