Indiana Univ. N.W. gets chancellor, Hilda Richards - Indiana University Northwest - Brief Article

The Indiana University Board of Trustees has approved the appointment of Dr. Hilda Richards to chancellor of Indiana University Northwest.
Indiana University Northwest, which is located in Gary, Ind., has about 6,000 students and is part of the eight-campus Indiana University system, which has a combined enrollment of over 96,000 students.
Richards previously was provost and vice president for academic affairs at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Pennsylvania. Prior to that, she was dean of the College of Health and Human Services at Ohio University in Athens.
She has a master's degree and a doctorate degree in education from Columbia University; a master's of public administration degree from New York University; a bachelor of science degree from Hunter College, City University of New York; and a diploma in nursing from St. John's School of Nursing in St. Louis.
