Atlanta jury finds no evidence that basketball star Dennis Rodman gave woman herpes

Former Chicago Bulls center Bill Cartwright has retired, but said he will remain with the Seattle SuperSonics as a West Coast consultant for scouting and player development, the Sonics have said.

Cartwright, 37, signed with Seattle as an unrestricted free agent last September.

During his 16-year NBA career he played on three Bulls championship teams. In all, he spent six seasons in Chicago.

Cartwright finished his career with 12,713 points, 6,106 rebounds and a field goal percentage of 52.5 percent in 963 games.
