Mason, 31, and his cousin, William Duggins, 24, are accused of having sex with 14- and 15-year-old sisters.
Mason's lawyer says the basketball star is the victim of a set-up.
Mason and his cousin were set free on bail. Mason posted $20,000, which was set by Judge Steven Paynter based on Mason's disorderly conduct conviction last fall, and Duggins posted $3,500, the Chicago SunTimes reported. A court date was set for March 9.
