Dr. Rudolph Waters named Alcorn State interim prexy

Dr. Rudolph E. Waters, executive vice president of Alcorn State University in Lorman, Mississippi, recently was appointed to serve as interim president effective July 1.
Waters will replace Dr. Walter Washington who is retiring after 25 years as president of Alcorn State University. Waters has been at Alcorn State University for 37 years.
He holds a bachelor's degree from DePaul University in Chicago, a master's from Boston University and a Ph. D. from Kansas State University.
