> Donna Hill Staton, the first Black circuit court judge in Howard County, MD, has been named the first Black woman deputy attorney general in Maryland. She assists the attorney general in the day-to-day operations of the office of the attorney general, including supervising the work of the attorneys involved in complex commercial, financial and transactional issues, litigation and public policy issues.
