Dr. Clinton Bristow Jr. named new president of Alcorn State University in Lorman, MS

The State College Board of Trustees in Mississippi recently voted unanimously to name Dr. Clinton Bristow Jr., the 16th president of Alcorn State University.
Bristow, 46, most recently served as a professor of management at Chicago State University.
"Dr. Bristow will be an excellent president for Alcorn State," observed board member Dr. Cass Pennington, who served as chair of the presidential search committee. "He is an outstanding administrator with a very real concern for the success of the university."
Bristow holds a law degree from Northwestern University School of Law, as well as a Ph.D in education and public administration from North-western.
Bristow's appointment follows the retirement of Dr. Walter Washington who served 25 years as president of the school in Lorman, MS.
