Celebrity friends surprise Anna Maria Horsford with birthday bash in Los Angeles

A night out with the girls turned into a surprise birthday party for Anna Maria Horsford, co-star of the WB network's "The Wavans Brothers".
Horsford, who also starred in "Amen", thought she was attending a benefit cocktail party with friends JoMarie Payton Noble of "Family Matters," Denise Nicholas and LaTanya Richardson, wife of actor Samuel L. Jackson. When they arrived at the Los Angeles home of Dr. Bill Releford, chairman of the African-American Outreach Program for the American Diabetes Assn., Horsford was surprised to find several of her celebrity friends ready to celebrate her birthday. The surprise party was given by her longtime friend and publicist, Kenneth R. Reynolds.
