LL Cool J weds high school sweetheart during private ceremony in New York

Rapper-turned-actor LL Cool J recently married his high school sweetheart, Simone, during a private wedding ceremony at his home in Long Island, NY.
LL, whose given name is James Todd Smith, and his new wife also celebrated the birth of a baby girl, Samaria Leah Wisdom Smith, born on Sept. 15. The couple have two other children, a son Najee and a daughter Talle.
The 27-year-old rap pioneer stars on the NBC-TV sitcom, "In The House," and has five multi-platinum albums and a Grammy Award to his credits.
His song, Mamma Said Knock You Out, won a Grammy for best rap song of 1991.
