Actor Wesley Snipes recently was fined $1,000 and placed on probation for two years after pleading no contest to carrying a loaded gun in Hollywood, Calif.

The sentence stems from an August 3 incident in Hollywood when Snipes was in an accident and officers found the pistol in his possession (Jet, Aug. 23).
