Frank Robinson

Frank Robinson Major League Baseball's first Black manager and a player for 21 years, has been appointed director of baseball operations for the six-team Arizona Fall League and special projects consultant to the commissioner, making him the ninth Black executive in Major League Baseball's central office. He became the first Black manager in 1974 with the Cleveland Indians.
