Singer/Songwriter/TV Producer Jermaine Jackson took a precautionary visit to see his doctor in Los Angeles because of palpitations of his heart.
The 39-year-old member of the famous family of Jacksons was forced to skip an art gallery appearance at the Boehm Procelain Gallery in Trenton, N.J., which created the award to be presented by the show biz family to Elizabeth Taylor and Berry Gordy at the family's television reunion on Dec. 11.
Jermaine was in Switzerland when he first felt ill and returned to the United States. A spokesman, John McLaughlin, said, "He's fine and he's looking forward to getting back to his duties as executive producer of the upcoming TV special, "Jackson Family Honors." airing early next January.
