Dayton SCLC holds gun buy back campaign - Southern Christian Leadership Conference chapter in Dayton, Ohio

In an effort to curb inner-city violence, more than 750 residents of Dayton, Ohio, turned in more than 1,000 guns during the recent Gun Buyback campaign, sponsored by the Dayton chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC).

National SCLC President Dr. Joseph Lowery visited Dayton to witness the Gun Buyback campaign and said the program is a positive step in the right direction.
