Pop-soul singer Bobby Brown has canceled the European tour of his world tour on his doctors' orders.

Brown, 24, has a history of high blood pressure, and his doctors have advised him to slow down, his publicist said.

"I am truly sorry, but I know my fans will understand," Brown said in a press statement.

He had been touring the U.S., Australia, Southeast Asia and Japan.
