Hit movie 'Soul FOod' earns $45 million at box office; set for home release this month

The top-grossing film Soul Food gobbled up $45 million at the box-office, and now it's ready for a take-home delivery.

The eagerly-awaited movie will be available at video stores across America on January 13. It will be released on Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, a subsidiary of Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation.

Soul Food was written and directed by Chicago native George Tillman Jr., and the film tells the touching story of how a family must learn to keep peace when the matriarch's health takes a drastic turn for the worse.

The movie's all-star cast includes Vanessa L. Williams, Vivica A. Fox, Nia Long, Brandon Hammond, Irma P. Hall, Michael Beach and Jeffrey D. Sams.
