Dahmer killed 17 people but never handcuffed in court, unlike black man accused of his murder
Jet, Jan 9, 1995
JET Magazine has learned from a study of numerous photographs of convicted serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer's trial that he was not in handcuffs while in court, unlike the Black man--Christopher Scarver--who is accused of killing him.
Dahmer, who lured 17 victims--many of them Black men--to his home, drugged them and murdered them, and began saving his victims' body parts to "eat later."
Close examination of dozens of photos taken of Dahmer while on trial for the heinous crimes shows that the killer did not appear in court with handcuffs.
Scarver, who has a recorded history of hostility toward Whites, however, first appeared in court for Dahmer's and Jesse Anderson's murders with handcuffs and leg irons.
During his 1992 trial for shooting and killing a Wisconsin Corps crew chief during a holdup, Scarver claimed he was the son of God and that he heard voices.
The 25-year-old convicted murderer was not eligible for parole until the year 2042.
